Black and White is it timeless

Filed under: Old pictures, Art — Garden Lulu at 11:59 pm on Monday, November 13, 2006

Well I was talking with a friend tonight about how much I love black and white photo’s. I did this photo a long time ago but it’s has that timeless feel to it. One thing great about black an white is that the light can make all the difference. I think this was taken pretty early in the morning an the girl in this is one of my favorite 4-H kids. I hope she doesn’t mind me sharing it. renee.jpg

Garrett and his guitar

When Garrett first ask me to put together an inventory of things that I do, I thought to myself why would anyone be interested in that. I’m really simple and not very complicated and I have terrible grammar. He promised me to proof these pages. I thought well I could show case my photography and my art and some of the people that spin my world.
In learning about life I would have to give Garrett some kudos for never leaving me behind and helping me to keep pace with the world around me. His friends too, “Thank you.”

Tribal Mother

Filed under: Old pictures — Garden Lulu at 9:31 am on Sunday, September 3, 2006

Part of my job as mother was to take pictures. As you know this tribe was non- conventional. I had to make sure that I intruded all the time and I found myself generally interested in whatever the tribe was doing musically. I would like to say I didn’t know they were a bunch of wild drinking out of control evil heathens, though. I thought of them as eccentic and for me it was like watching the most amazing group of humans. I learn that unconventional had its problems, but they were able to save each other from all depths. To the Tribe I would like to contribute these pictures of incredible moments in my life. I am cataloging them for your memory. Since you probably have lost portions of it to some Russian Vodka. I hope you like them.landon.jpg
