while back I answered a question on Linkedin. It was what symbols identify you? Well I answer the question this way.
LuLu Kelly

2. Missing Keys
3. Paintings and canvas
4. gardening equipment
5. Homemade Ravioli and burnt chocolate chip cookies (I’m easily distracted)
Today in my e-mail I got this great cartoon of me. I mean I laugh and thought it was amazing how scott captured my essence and has never met me in person. He has a blog and has written a booked called the A.M. God. I would love you to check out what he is working on he has some really great paintings too. I hope he will collaborate with me on some retreat ideas.

I am a avid gardener and besides my friend Fred no one I know really likes gardening. I could talk botanticals all day long. I love flora and Fauna. Recently I join a group call GardenTenders, a women that I met through Linkedin Robin Haglund recommended it and I’m having a great time looking at very creative gardening and meeting some really nice people gardening in a lot of different areas. It’s amazing to read what goes on in Canada. I would tell anyone out there that loves to garden make sure to check it out.

I painted a little painting of a friend of mine but I actually ended up liking two drawings that were on either side so I’m going to call them a bi-product of the orginal drawing. I need to redo this drawing but sometimes there is something that is redeemable in the painting. I found that you can just take that part and not totally hate what you did.

Well now I’m totally experimenting I did a very loose sketch and then just painted free style with no real thought of what or how i was going to do this. I like when I have control over pen and paint but I guess it’s important to not always paint what people expect. I love that surprise value to this.last time1.JPG

This is one of the oldest pictures I could find of a group of boys that I just adore. Landon, Garrett, and Ryan.
I think I thought they were talented even back then. Mothers love is just amazing isn’t it.

Raccoons on a rail

Jim and I are pretty predictable we come home from work and do things like feed the animals, walk the dogs and go to bed. I know it’s not a very exciting life but it’s what we do best. A couple of days ago we notice that we have some new neighbors in the neighborhood. They are three orphan raccoons. I got this picture at dusk and they are just waking up. They let me get pretty close. I was probably pretty stupid but it was really fun.twin raccoons1.jpg Comments (3)

Hi, this is Garden Lulu, and I am Garrett’s mom. I wanted to start a blog to discuss photography, art, gardening, and my new job as a bug trapper in Contra Costa County, Ca. Garrett said that I should join his BoontDusties community because I have known his group of friends as long as he has, and because I have collected many pictures of them over the years (Charlie-walker is a Boontling word for “a snapshot”). I wanted to help add to his historical collection, and offer my own peculiar interests to the group. Feel free to ask me any questions if you’re looking for some good advice.

This is me. I’m on the left.
