It just makes me so goddamn thirsty. Milwaukee's Best is pretty bad in a similar way as well. And I just had Colt 45 recently, which has a distinctly mucous-y texture. But that's malt liquor, I guess, and thus sort of in its own category. The beauty of Pabst is that it's the best of the cheap beers, in my opinion. Landon put it this way: You can drink it warm, and it's palatable, whereas a lot of other cheap beers (I'm looking at you, Old Milwaukee) have to be at absolute zero before one's throat will consider accepting them.
