Review#99: This free desk thing

Tuesday, September 12th, 2006

I needed something to put my computer on since it’s been sitting on the floor. Unfortunatley I don’t have room in my bedroom for a desk. This thing is nice because it’s not too big, and with Steph’s help (i have no knack for interior design) I think it’ll fit in nicely.
-Found with “free” sign across the street.
-Sturdy, but not too heavy.
-Wheels make it easy to roll around.
-A keyboard drawer would’ve been nice.
-Mad props to Tony for helping me lug this up to my apartment in the middle of the night.
-It’s the same dark wood grain color as everything else in my apartment.

Review # 83: My new bookshelf

Thursday, August 24th, 2006

Today I decided to get a new bookshelf after my other one tragically met it’s demise. I mentioned this to my neighbor and he told me that there were cinderblocks in the alley. So instead of driving somewhere and buying a new bookshelf I just grabbed six of the cinderblocks, brushed them out in case of spiders, and used the old shelving to make a brick and board shelf. It looks better that the other one did and it looks like it takes up less space, even though it’s about the same. I also don’t anticipate this thing collapsing, although I could be very wrong.jnrtg

Review#77: My bookshelf

Thursday, August 10th, 2006

I was cleaning my room about an hour ago when my bookshelf decided to crumble to peices right before me. I did what anyone else would do…I took one of the shelves and swung it at the remaining structure effectivley breaking off a peice of particle board and knocking my television (wich was on) over in the process. Now not only is my room not clean, it’s messier than it was in the first place.

review # 44:This rubber monkey I found

Wednesday, June 21st, 2006

Damn, this thing is awesome. It’s a rubbery purple monkey. It used to have suction cups on it’s hands and legs, but they don’t work anymore. He’s still fun to bounce around. I don’t know where he came from, I think a little kid must have left it at my job. Finder’s keepers.
