		<description>I felt it at the time you found this diary, but I did not say.  There is something creepily dead about this thing.  I don't know what it is.

How it ends after only a handful of entries and then blends in with the remaining empty pages, somehow leaves me with unease.  It's not until I see the pictures that it seals it for me.  Or maybe it's here, on the web, seeing again digitally, what I saw in my hands that actually pushes me over.  I don't know.

I don't know why.  It's just a feeling.

The picture of the party around the table really freaks me out.  Not in a way that repulses me.  But it freaks me out because it is so candid and yet so dead and forgotten.  I mean this diary!  Did it not truly mean what it meant to whoever assembled it as it was intended at one time -- in the early eighties?

What happened to the party?  Where did it go?  Why did this anonymous diary place itself in front of you?

Peer into the eyes of the photos and the words of the captions.  What is being transmitted?  What is not being transmitted?  Why, for instance, is the remaining 3/4ths of the book blank?
