Seriously, with this fucked up Kramer campaign and the whole Shoot The Gangsta For a Free Ring Tone from last year, I’m sure that I could make this a running column. I know myspace is here to stay and it’s really not that fashionable to bash it because it’s so obviously stupid, but Jesus Christ I can’t for the life of me understand why I continue to use that site. I’m considering putting together a support group, dump my myspace account, and track the grieving process that would ensue.
Ooo, I just thought of a great domain name for it : “My Little Death”. I’m going to register it right now.
You and I need to create a myspace migration tool. There are plenty of better social networking sites, or a new one in the future. Giving people a way to jump over while keeping their information and networks intact would help myspace shrivel and die.
