The first thirty seconds in this youtube video of Superman III used to scare the bejeezus out of me when I was a toddler. Funny thing is, I’ve talked to people over the years and they can relate the same bit of horror from this specific scene. And people on the comment thread say the same thing.

This was really terrifying to me as a kind too, Had completely forgotten about it until I saw the clip. Something in the way the woman is really scared and then transformed… I can still see now how that would freak kids out
