I found this tape while digging around in the Seattle Goodwill ‘bins’ – and outlet of thrift store items where large containers are filled with items you can scavenge through. You basically pay by the pound and can fill giant bags – it’s heavenly.
A lot of this tape is just someone recording songs off the radio, but it starts out with a poem or some sort of essay being read. Then after there is a short band practice where some teenagers talk about where their ‘bitchin’ solo’ should go and rehearse ‘House of the Rising Sun’. That kid sures got a good set of pipes!
